"Lent: A Time to Grieve with God," with the Rev. Sandra McGowan on Zoom

God offers healing for varieties of grief—both the grief we know and the grief we have not spoken. Join Deacon Sandra McGowan on Zoom on Friday, March 19 at 8 PM. We will open with prayer, some definitions, and look at images to help us notice how God is present in grief. We will end with the service of Compline from the Book of Common Prayer, and conclude our time together at 9 PM.

Deacon Sandy is retired from a thirty-two year career in public education, with specialties in special education and counseling. Prior to coming to the Cathedral, she served at the St. Francis Mission with families from Burma and Thailand refugee camps. You can contact her by clicking HERE.
