Please join us in the Cathedral for this service at 7:30 PM on the vigil of the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel. Fr. Peter Schellhase of St. Michael’s, Colonie, will be the guest preacher.

There is an historic connection between St. Michael's, Colonie, and the Cathedral. St. Michael's was begun as a mission of the Cathedral by Dean Brown and Canon Dwyer in 1956. By 1958 the mission had become self-supporting and was admitted to the Diocese as a parish with Canon Dwyer as the first Rector.

It is the vision of Dean Harding and the current rector, Fr. Peter Schellhase, to renew this connection. On the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels Vigil on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30PM, Fr. Peter will be the preacher at the Cathedral. The Dean will be the preacher on Sunday, October 2 at St. MIchael's as they keep their Feast of Title.
