Organ Concert honoring Dr. Adolphus Hailstork

The Cathedral of All Saints is proud to host an organ concert to honor former chorister of The Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, Dr. Adolphus Hailstork, who will be present.

Dr. Hailstork holds degrees from Howard University and Manhattan School of Music, he studied in Paris with the famed teacher and composer Nadia Boulanger, and earned his doctorate at Michigan State University. The recipient of two other honorary doctorates, he serves as Professor of Music and Eminent Scholar at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

The organ concert will consist of five ENYAGO members playing works written by Dr. Hailstork. Performers include: Mary Bon (First Church), Alfred Fedak (Westminster Presbyterian Church), Brian Gurley (Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception), Trevor Kahlbaugh (First Presbyterian Church), and William Douglas (The Cathedral of All Saints).

Admission is $10 for adults and free for children (18 & under) and students with a valid ID.
