Tuesday Evenings in Lent & Beyond
February 23 - May 4, 2010, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Explore and experience the scriptural texts of Handel's Messiah. This course is designed to deepen one's appreciation of both the words and the music of the greatest of Handel's oratorios. The course is titled Hallelujah! The Bible and Handel's Messiah and it parallels the structure of the oratorio itself. By the end of the study, each participant will have evidenced the drama of redemption from start to finish. The cost for the course is $20 and includes the resource book. A reduced rate ticket for Messiah to be sung in concert by the Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys on May 15-16 will be offered to class participants. Wednesdays Evenings in Lent
February 24 - March 24, 2010
Please join us for a soup supper at 6:00 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Various members of the Cathedral of All Saints and our covenant partner, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, will do the presentations on the topic of Christ's Priesthood in the Church. Stations of the Cross will be offered at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome!

Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction

Please join us for this important Cathedral fundraiser! An old fashioned spaghetti dinner will follow the 10:00 a.m. eucharist. The silent auction will be held at 12:00 noon. Tickets for the dinner may be purchased at the Cathedral on Sundays after the 10:00 a.m. eucharist in the rear of the nave or by telephoning the Cathedral Office at (518)465-1342. Cost for dinner is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, $10 for children. Items (new only) are needed for the silent auction. Items will be collected beginning on Sunday, March 14 at the Bookstall in Pedersen Hall or at the rear of the nave after the 10:00 a.m. eucharist each Sunday. The Cathedral Bookstall has an excellent inventory of Bibles, Prayer Books, Hymnals, devotional aids, the most recent publications and gift items. Please stop by on Sunday mornings or telephone the Cathedral Office at (518)465-1342 to make an appointment to visit at another time. The Bookstall is located in Pedersen Hall in the basement of the Cathedral.

The Cathedral Thrift Shop is in need of shoppers and donations. Please stop by to check out our great bargains (and support Cathedral ministries at the same time).
Joint Outreach Ministry - Food Pantry Donations Needed
The Cathedral of All Saints supports our convenant partner, The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, in their ministry to the needy of the community through the Cathedral Social Services Food Pantry. Donations of NON-PERISHIBLE FOOD ITEMS and PERSONAL CARE ITEMS are collected each Sunday at the Cathedral of All Saints. Please leave donated items in the baskets at the rear of the Cathedral (to the right of the front doors). The following items are needed currently: canned foods (such as tunas and soups), non-perishable foods, pasta, cereals, tea/coffee, toilet paper, paper towels. Thank you for your ongoing support of this worthy cause and necessary ministry to the community.
